Many organizations spend a great deal of time developing their management and leadership to have the necessary skills to engage their workgroups. However, these same managers and leaders are often too busy and/or not skilled in the area of how to cope with the interpersonal dynamics that happen in group settings. This is no fault of their own: even if they are highly trained in emotional intelligence, knowing their own strengths, and have a solid group decision-making process in place.
